If you're on way around the island or PCC, you need to make a quick stop here! It will take 5 minutes of your time & it's absolutely gorgeous! And it doesn't hurt to know that it's where "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" was filmed. We stopped here before our trip to PCC & the best part were the HUGE waves that hit the Rock (10-15 foot waves) & even went over it! It was stunning. There were people closer to the edge fishing.
This place is breathtaking. A good place to stop on a road-trip to see the 'real' uncommercialised Hawaii. Beware beforehand that there is very little parking available (5 cars at most on the point). The rocks are very sharp, so take shoes and carry children. Beautiful snorkeling and cliff diving nearby for confident swimmers.
We stopped here on our drive around the island and loved the views! You can walk around for quite a while taking pictures at every angle of this point. When the sun shines on the water, it sparkles and you can see so many shades of blue. It is just gorgeous!
